Dr. Soonil Jeon received his doctoral degree in mechanical & aerospace engineering from Seoul National University, Korea in 2003. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jeon joined Hyundai Motor Group as a fuel cell control engineer in 2003. He contributed to developing the Tucson ix35 Fuel Cell, which was the world\u2019s first commercial production FCEV. He also led the successful launch of NEXO SUV in 2018, which achieved significant improvements like high efficiency, performance, and durability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Jeon is currently the head of Fuel Cell Engineering Design Group. His main task is to design more competitive fuel cell components and system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
